Currently I have 50 amazing women from all over North America going through Summit Fit who range from stay-at-home moms to entrepreneurs to corporate executives to doctors and everything else in between. 

These women are backpackers, hikers, elk hunters, bikers, climbers, toddler-chasers, mountaineers, gardeners, and more. They truly embody a sense of adventure in everything they do. 

Women often hesitate to make the changes in their health because they feel they don't have the time or the willpower. Truthfully, you don't need anymore of either of those to make the changes we implement in Summit Fit Academy.

Meet Erin!

"Hi, my name is Erin Masterson. My husband & I live in Joplin, Missouri . We have 3 kids Reid 5, Gage 3, & Remi 7 months. My husband is an ENT resident at a local hospital and is currently doing 2 months of out rotations at a hospital a few hours away. So things are pretty crazy around our house. Here’s a little background. I’ve either been pregnant or breastfeeding for the past 6 years. My body is worn out, exhausted (obviously), weak and kind of a wreck. I was incredibly sick with all 3 pregnancies and had shingles with my last one.  In January, I decided I needed to get serious with my health. I was sick of feeling rundown & being in survival mode every.single.day. I did a round of Whole30 along with exercising a few times a week (hooray for free childcare at the YMCA!). However, I wasn’t seeing much change & I was getting discouraged. That’s about the time I started tuning in Rachel’s “Live” Facebook videos. At first, I was hesitant to spend the money. After several conversations with my husband— I decided to bite the bullet and give Rachel Meyer Fitness a try. After being part of the program I can confidently say it was worth every single penny!!! 

Here is why:

  1. Rachel educates you on the 6 power foods. What you put in your mouth effects how you feel. (Wow, what a new concept right?! :)) Before my body felt so worn out & I had zero energy. My diet wasn’t horrible-I just wasn’t eating the right kinds of crabs, proteins & fats. Now that I focus on putting the 6 power foods in my mouth I have WAY more energy. I’m not crashing. I’m overall more productive throughout the day and a happier person!
  2. I’ve started viewing working out as an appointment that I have to schedule.  Before I would work out if it it into my schedule. But let’s get real working out never really “fits into your schedule” when your a stay-at-home mom of 3 young kids.
  3. Eating right and exercising doesn’t have to be complicated. She outlines an awesome nutrition & workout guide in Summit Fit Academy that is really quite simple. I’ve always made “getting healthy” a really complicated task-but it doesn’t have to be.  Develop a plan that works for your family. I hate cooking. However, I want to be strong & healthy more than I hate cooking…so I have to cook. Delicious & nutritious meals can be simple (it’s true!). Spend a couple hours on the weekend batch cooking and prepping all your veggies. It will make meal times seem a lot less complicated.
  4. My mindset was completely shifted during Summit Fit Academy. I thought I would never be able to get out of survival mode. With a husband who was gone & 3 wild children I thought survival mode was my only option. Rachel empowers all of her clients to focus on their mindset & to make time for personal development. This has helped me embrace my season in life & enjoy it to the fullest (even on days that are bananas :)).

Rachel is the real deal. She knows her stuff and she is not joking around. I’ve learned more about nutrition and effective movement in the past 2 weeks- then I ever thought was possible. She not only empowers you - she gives you the tools to be successful!
